Because we are humans, our life is more than just existing. We have the opportunity to feel, to love and to be hurt. Each one of us has experienced the beauty of being loved and the suffering of unmet expectations.
I am thankful that I am both a human, who is aware of such things, and a living being that has gone through some fire. Even when we have had life events that wounded and scared us, it is amazing to allow forgiveness and thanksgiving to arise and from deep within you, and love. My family is not perfect and at times we are not even good. There are like me.
Yet I am thankful for them all because they are going forward in the battle of life.
